March 16 BluSky Seminar

March 16 CE Seminar by BluSky

Special thanks to Premier Industry Partner BluSky Restoration Contractors for offering our members a TREC accredited class covering low slope roofing! Of the 21 attendees – including 12 IREM members – 17 applied for CE!

The class leader provided insight into real-life experiences as well as the evolution of various preferred roofing systems and changes within the industry over the past 20 years, and attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and troubleshoot their current issues. The seminar wrapped up in BluSky’s hands-on training facility where various roofing materials were discussed and temporary repairs were demonstrated.

Shout out to the BluSky instructors and for their company’s continued commitment to sharing great information with our Chapter!

March 9 Luncheon – Survival Awareness Clinic

March 16 Chapter Luncheon

We hosted a terrific crowd at Chickasaw Country Club for our March luncheon featuring a  Survival Awareness Clinic with retired FBI Special Agent and SWAT Team Leader Matthew Campbell. We learned practical application tactics and lifestyle changes that can be implemented  to keep yourself and your family safe in all environments in today’s dangerous world!

We were honored to install two new members as well! Craig Cardwell, distinguished Memphis CPM® and former IREM Senior Vice President, conducted certification installations –  Crystal Garcia, ARM® and June Hurt, CPM®. Congratulations to both for reaching this milestone in their careers!

And a BIG shout-out to Allie Wells with BluSky Restoration Contractors for presenting the prize giveaway and swag bag – congratulations to Debra Owings, CPM®, for winning the Grizzlies tickets!
